Qld: Liberals accused of dirty campaign tricks over web link=2

The registrant of the beattie2001.com web domain website Denis Markwell told AAP he
had registered it to show how "short sighted" the Labor Party had been in not securing
the domain for itself.

Mr Markwell, from Lutwyche in Brisbane's northern suburbs, said he had no political
party affiliation.

He said he would not respond to comments by Mr Mackenroth or Dr Watson.

Mr Markwell also operates a website, BikePics on the Net, which shows photographs of motorcycles.
