Group to spread word on treatment of ADHD

Evelyn Green knows from her experience as a mother and educatorthe frustration of dealing with attention deficit hyperactivitydisorder.

But equally frustrating, she said, is knowing that many with theaffliction don't know about the treatment and therapy optionsavailable to overcome the disorder.

"It really is very difficult reaching some communities," saidGreen, a Chicagoan and national president of the group Children andAdults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. "It's not justrace, it's not just certain cultures or socioeconomic status."
